Our family story
Barro Farm Stand is a family endeavor rooted in a passion for sustainable living and providing fresh, high-quality eggs to our neighbors in Stow, Ohio. We believe in connecting people with the source of their food and fostering a strong local community.
Barro Eggs come from our chickens cared for by none other than their 2 tiny humans. We have two sons who take great pride in caring and sustaining our chickens environment with nothing but love and care. Their names are what curated the name "Barro."
Our little portion of land was once 20+ acres dated back to the early 1900's. Our late Hunt family once farmed the land with livestock, gardens, beautiful berry bushes and fruit trees. Our family nourished their family solely off their land. Millie Hunt took great pride in her home and was known for her cooking, baking and the tremendous mother she was.
Our journey to fresh eggs
What started as a backyard hobby has blossomed into Barro Farm Stand. We began with a small flock of happy, free-range chickens, and the incredible taste of their eggs inspired us to share them with our community. Our commitment to animal welfare and natural farming practices is at the heart of everything we do.

Chicken Feed
We feed our chickens organic non gmo crumbles, kitchen scraps and fresh water everyday!
Collection & Cleaning
We hand wash our eggs and refrigerate after collection. They are washed with our favorite natural soap and a clean scrub brush every wash. Every egg is tested before washing to check for viability.
